The purpose of the "Perfect Eye" is to compare two different collimation methods and an uncollimated telescope to the theoretical Dawes Limit, based on the size of the mirrors, as a minimum arc seconds to separate a double star. The telescope should be able to split a double star that is twice Dawes Limit. That would determine how well each method did against uncollimation.
